The upcoming Summit Entertainment film Robin Hood is moving to Thanksgiving and A Simple Favor has been given a September release date. Robin Hood, which is produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, is directed by Otto Bathurst (Peaky BlindersBlack Mirror) and stars Taron Egerton (Kingsman: the Secret ServiceEddie the Eagle), Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades FreedThe Fall) and Ben Mendelsohn (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the upcoming Ready Player One). The film was originally set for September 21, 2018, but has moved to November 21, 2018. This puts it opposite Creed 2Second ActRalph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 and Marwencol.

A Simple Favor starring Anna Kendrick (Pitch PerfectMike and Dave Need Wedding Dates) and Blake Lively (The ShallowsAge of Adaline) and directed by Paul Feig (BridesmaidsGhostbustersSpy) has gotten a release date of September 14, 2018. The film was written by Feig and Jessica Sharzer. This puts it opposite The PredatorAlpha and Fighting with My FamilyA Simple Favor is based on the novel by Darcey Bell.

A Simple Favor, directed by Paul Feig, centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily’s husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this stylish thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.
