Epic New Video Pays Tribute To Captain America In Man Of Steel Style

The story of Captain America is one of honor, bravery and sacrifice. And we couldn’t agree more.

Ever since Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Steve Rogers has been a pillar of Marvel’s billion-dollar juggernaut, and it’s often the case that many of its CG-laden installments place Captain America at the crux of the story – like, say, Civil War.

Avengers: Infinity War is really the exception to the rule, given the star-spangled patriot adopted the mantle of Nomad as he took charge of the Secret Avengers and lived his life in exile – only to be pulled back into the line of duty in time for the Battle of Wakanda.

Alas, the Avengers lost, which tees up a pretty fascinating power dynamic going into the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4. But before we get swept up by conspiracy theories and rumored plot details concerning the 2019 sequel, it’s time to take a moment and reflect on Captain America’ journey thus far – albeit with a swell of Hans Zimmer’s inspired Man of Steel soundtrack, “What Are You Going To Do When You Are Not Saving The World.”

Seen up above, this particularly spine-chilling tribute video was cut together by prominent YouTuber Mr. Krepshus, and if you’re in need of some content to keep you ticking over until the inevitable release of Avengers 4 – or Captain Marvel, for that matter – we strongly recommend having a browse through his archives. Because even if you aren’t remotely interested in the MCU and all it has to offer, the editing on display here is pretty damn incredible.

And one need only look at Mr. Krepshus’ Captain America tribute video for evidence of that. Avengers 4, meanwhile, is expected to upend the MCU we know and love on May 3rd, 2019.
