James Corden and his wife welcomed the birth of their baby daughter on Tuesday — and, in lieu of going dark, CBS is offering up his Late Late Show gig to visiting guests.

Tuesday night’s surprise hosting appearance from Harry Styles will be followed up by Bryan Cranston for Wednesday night’s telecast. The Emmy winner taped the show during the afternoon, interviewing guests Dwayne Johnson and Jack Black and welcoming musical guest Tim Minchin. (The episode airs in its regularly scheduled 12:37 a.m. time slot.)

Cranston is currently on hiatus from the West End revival of Network. He resumes the London show Dec. 18-20 and again on Jan. 3. Next up, the actor has Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs, which is set to bow in March at the Berlin International Film Festival.
