Ecto-1 replicas will be on call to Lyft riders July 1st and 2nd, but you gotta request GhostMode.
It’s similar to what Lyft did with DeLoreans for ‘Back to the Future’ day, but better since the Ghostbusters deal will be in multiple cities — L.A., NYC, San Fran, Boston and Washington D.C.
We got one of the Ectos rolling through Bev Hills Wednesday night, and even Jeff Beacher was impressed, along with Paris Hilton — who is busy launching her new fragrance ‘Gold Rush.’ They both took time out to admire the ride.
Lyft’s expecting this is to be very popular, so it’s also wrapping Toyota Highlanders to look like the car. Small consolation, but it’ll lower your wait time.
